A week’s ski touring in the Sunnmore Alps of central Norway, using both a valley base and a mountain hut, with hire cars to reach ski touring locations. The timings of this trip will allow people to combine this with the Spitsbergen tour the following week. If anyone wishes to depart early during get weekend this should be possible.
The Sunnmore Alps are split by the Storfjorden / Sunnylvsfjorden fjord system. There are a lot of picturesque mountains in this region that give excellent ski touring. We aim to divide our week between both sides of the fjord. If weather or conditions are poor we have the option of touring in the Jostedalsdal to the east.

Expect daily ascents of up to 1400m at a pace of 250-300m per hour.
