This is an account of a winter crossing of the Pyrenees by David Hamilton and Steve Kentish in 2020.
The journey started on the shores of the Mediterranean in mid January aiming to reach the Atlantic by late March. The journey of 44 stages was completed over 63 days, covering 724 km with 54,000 meters of ascent. The duo were prepared for challenging logistics, difficult snow conditions and variable weather. The outbreak of Covid-19 was not part of the plan.
